Wowz.. 6 months, huh? That's not a new record.
Updates:
My younger sister is pregnant; due in the beginning of December.
My mom bought a house for my sister and her fiancé to rent from her when they get on their feet.
I got fired from my job in March of this year.. I wonder if I wrote about that? And just this last tuesday (10/28) I got a phone call from the Blood Bank of the Pacific about the call center interview I went on last week. They offered me the job. (^_^) If this happens, I will have finally gotten a job since I was fired!
In June of this year, I started as a Teaching Assistant at my massage school's SF campus. It's been pretty good. This campus has a different feel than the one I went to for school.. Probably because I was a student in that one, and a TA in this one..
As for other news from Tuesday..
Jason and I went to Trader Joe's for some grocery shopping.. He's nervous, we haven't talked or seen each other very much in the passed 2-3 weeks.. I was nervous too. We got to his place, he asked if I wanted to talk first, or fix food first.
I like distractions while talking about serious things, so I suggested talking while fixing, and he said it'd be awkward for that. Makes sense. He likes to talk face to face and emotional things don't allow for concentration if you need it elsewhere.
I assisted him in making a Greek dinner. Made his own garlic-cucumber yogurt sauce, saffron rice (it was overflowing the rice maker too!) and a red meat concoction on the stove. We watched 'Dude, Where's My Car?' during eating.. for the mind-numbing, no concentration needed distraction.
Then.. "the talk."
It's more of a blur than not right now, and forever, I suppose. I don't know how it started. He started talking, and I listened. At first looking at him, then since we're on the couch together, just staring at the coffee table. He broke up with me in the middle of it. I didn't really understand that's what he meant until a few more sentences and pauses and minutes had rolled by.
He wished me luck and clearheadedness and all of that good stuff that someone who loves and cares for you wishes for you and your future. He knows me really well, and yeah.. He said he needs happiness and to be cared for. I'm not providing that, so, after much pain and anguish, he took the courage to end it.
Then I helped him clean up a bit and called a taxi home.
I don't think I feel it yet.
